General and app support
Say which project, which device, and what happened.
Audiobook Co-op
- What is Audiobookshelf?
- A free, open-source server for audiobooks and ebooks that people run at home or on a hosted service. Audiobook Co-op connects to it; it does not provide books of its own. See audiobookshelf.org.
- How do I add a server?
- Open the app, enter the server's address with the username and password its administrator gave you. To add more, go to Settings → Servers → Add a server.
- Will the app change anything on my server?
- No. It reads your library and saves only your listening progress. Files and metadata are never touched.
- How do I send a problem report?
- In test builds, Settings → Report a problem shows everything a report contains before you send it. Otherwise, email support@sidequestered.com.
- How do I delete my data?
- Removing a server from the app deletes its saved sign-in and cached library from the device; uninstalling removes everything. A problem report you sent can be deleted from Settings, or by emailing privacy@sidequestered.com. Details are in the privacy policy.
- Refunds
- Purchases are made through Google Play or the App Store, and refunds are handled by the store you bought from.
ABS Butler
- Where do I report a bug or ask for a feature?
- On GitHub issues, so the fix and the discussion are public for everyone running it.
- How do I install or update it?
- See the README. Updating a Docker install is
docker compose pull && docker compose up -din its folder. - Will it change my library without asking?
- No. Every operation is a dry run by default, and changing files or metadata each has to be switched on separately in its settings.
